About SUDC

SUDC; Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood is defined as the unexplained death of a child between the ages of twelve months to eighteen years old. The sudden death of an otherwise healthy child is categorized as such by a medical examiner after an autopsy, examination of the death scene, and review of the clinical history.

This medical anomaly is exceedingly hard to come to grips with because the answers we want simply are not here yet. Our purpose is to provide an empathetic, informative and supportive space for anyone who has experienced such heartbreaking loss. Please know, you are not alone.
